Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef/Cook to join our small friendly team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in meal preparation and food safety, with the ability to work either alone or as part of the kitchen team to provide simple meals in a timely manner.
You must be qualified to level 2 Food & Hygiene. As a Chef/Cook, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and presentation of our menu items while ensuring a well-organised kitchen environment.
Duties
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed in the kitchen.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef/Cook or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- A passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation is essential.
- Culinary qualifications or certifications are desirable but not mandatory.

This is a part time position but will include weekends and bank holidays.
This is a seasonal roll from till End of September.
The hours are 9:30am to 4:30pm 3 or 4 days a week but will include weekends and bank holidays. There are no evenings.
This position is based in Horning NR12 8AA. There is no reliable public transport that come to Horning so you must be able to get here with your own means of transport. There is free parking availble.
