Part time Funeral Service Operative
Funeral Operative Roles
Washing cars, polishing and cleaning prior to all funerals and in general preparation for future funerals
Collecting deceased from hospitals, care homes, residential premises or elsewhere if required.
Pall bearing
Limousine/Hearse driving
Assisting with receiving coffin deliveries and other deliveries as required
General manual work: cleaning sweeping and manual lifting
Preparing coffins for funerals
Assisting with the preparation and dressing of the deceased
Taking part in out of hours duty roster (covered by additional recompense)
Previous experience beneficial but not essential
A Full UK Driving Licence.
To be well presented and professional at all times.
To be committed to delivering a funeral service at the highest of standards.
To be physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy weights by following manual handling procedures.
To be flexible and adaptable.
