We are currently seeking a skilled Kitchen Fitter to join our dynamic brand. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for kitchen fitting and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
· Install a wide range of kitchen cabinets, countertops, and appliances according to the provided specifications and design plans.
· Conduct modifications to existing structures as required, including cutting, shaping, and fitting materials to achieve desired outcomes.
· Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other tradespeople to ensure that the project specifications are met and to resolve any issues that may arise during the installation process.
· Accurately measure and plan kitchen installations to ensure optimal use of space and resources.
· Ensure all installations are completed within the agreed timeframe and to the highest standard of quality.
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
· Provide excellent customer service, addressing any client concerns with professionalism and in a timely manner.
· Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and materials.
Requirements:
· A minimum of 3 years experience as a Kitchen Fitter or similar role, with a portfolio of completed projects.
· Your Own Tools
· Your own van, big enough to transport a 3m length
· A valid driver’s license
· A valid public liability insurance (min £1,000,000)
· A strong understanding of kitchen design principles and experience working with a variety of materials and tools.
· Excellent technical skills, with the ability to read and interpret design plans and specifications.
· Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
· Effective communication and teamwork skills.
As part of the work, we will also require, prior to the job, for you to pick up the products from a manned storage area in the centre of Chelmsford and transport them to the job in question, so a van that can carry 3m lengths is essential.
