Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Private Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness, organisation, and overall upkeep of a private residence. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and tidying of all residential areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces, ensuring they meet high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Manage laundry duties such as washing, ironing, folding, and organising clothing and linens with care and precision
- Prepare meals or assist with cooking as needed, following specific dietary preferences or instructions provided by the household
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and household essentials; restock as necessary to ensure smooth operations
- Conduct janitorial tasks including trash removal, surface disinfecting, window cleaning, and floor care using appropriate commercial cleaning techniques
- Provide attentive customer service by responding promptly to household requests and ensuring a welcoming environment
- Coordinate with other household staff or service providers to facilitate smooth daily operations
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or janitorial work, with a strong understanding of cleaning best practices
- Previous hotel or commercial cleaning experience is highly desirable for maintaining high standards of service
- Skilled in cooking and food preparation to assist with meal services or special dietary needs
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to uphold the residence’s pristine condition
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
