About the Role
We're looking for an organised and detail-focused E-Commerce Administrator to join our friendly team at Land of Beds.
You'll play an important role in keeping our online store accurate, up to date and easy for customers to shop. From creating new product listings and updating product information to checking prices, promotions, stock levels and availability, you'll help make sure customers always have the right information when making a purchase.
You'll also look after the day-to-day online product content for a selection of our brands, working closely with suppliers and our sales team.
We're particularly interested in candidates with previous experience in e-commerce, online retail, product listings or website content. Experience using platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Amazon, eBay, Facebook Marketplace or similar systems would be a strong advantage.
Previous e-commerce experience isn't essential for the right person, but we are looking for someone who can demonstrate strong attention to detail, good organisation and a genuine interest in e-commerce and online retail.
What You'll Be Doing
Product and Website Management
- Create and maintain product listings, including specifications, descriptions, images and pricing
- Keep product information accurate, complete and up to date
- Update pricing and promotions accurately and on time
- Monitor stock levels and lead times
- Carry out regular checks across product pages and resolve errors or inconsistencies
- Create and maintain clearance and promotional listings
Brands and Product Content
- Write and update clear, accurate product descriptions
- Manage online product content for a selection of brands
- Ensure products are presented consistently and in line with brand guidelines
- Work with suppliers to gather and check product information
- Follow up on missing or incorrect information
Pricing and Commercial Support
- Monitor competitor pricing and market activity
- Maintain price comparison spreadsheets
- Support promotional activity
- Keep the sales team informed about product, pricing and availability changes
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who takes pride in getting things right and can work independently while managing their own workload.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in e-commerce, online retail, product listings, website content or online marketplace management
- Hands-on experience using an e-commerce or marketplace platform such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Amazon, eBay, Facebook Marketplace or similar
- Excellent attention to detail and a habit of checking information carefully
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Good written communication skills
- Good numeracy and confidence working with prices and spreadsheets
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Confidence communicating with suppliers and colleagues
- A proactive approach and the ability to take ownership of problems
- A genuine interest in products, pricing and online retail
- The ability to work independently while being a supportive team player
Experience with an e-commerce platform such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Amazon, Facebook, eBay or a similar system would be a strong advantage.

Salary and Hours
- Salary: £25,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
- Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
- Part-time: Hours available for the right candidate
