We're looking for a motivated White Goods Appliance Engineer to join our growing team. Whether you're an experienced engineer or have strong electrical and mechanical skills with a willingness to learn, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
You'll visit customers in their homes to diagnose faults and repair a wide range of domestic appliances, always aiming to achieve a first-time fix wherever possible.
You'll be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while maintaining the high standards our customers have come to expect.
What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnosing faults on domestic appliances.
- Repairing washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, ovens, refrigeration appliances and other white goods.
- Carrying out preventative maintenance where required.
- Keeping accurate records of repairs, parts used and completed work.
- Providing clear, friendly advice to customers.
- Working safely and professionally in customers' homes.
- Attending manufacturer training courses when required.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Willingness to travel within the UK for manufacturer training when required.
Desirable:
- Previous experience repairing domestic appliances.
- Refrigeration qualifications.
- Gas qualifications.
