We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Construction team based in the UK, with agile working options where possible.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a vital role in managing the commercial resources of your assigned project. You'll work collaboratively to maximise planned gross margin, control contracts and subcontracts, and ensure smooth cash flow through effective measurement and valuation of work. This is an opportunity to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and your team while contributing to exciting projects across education, health, defence, and other key sectors.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in delivering projects that maximise profitability and maintain excellent client relationships. Your day to day will include:
- Managing project finances to maximise planned gross margin and achieve budgeted profitability
- Appointing contractors and subcontractors, and placing orders for materials and plant within delegated authorities
- Measuring and valuing work to support invoicing of customers and payments to suppliers
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, contractors, and subcontractors
- Identifying and proposing ways to mitigate contractual, commercial, and operational risks
What are we looking for?
This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:
- You have clear communication skills and experience working with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and the wider supply chain
- You hold relevant qualifications (Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying is desirable)
- You're organised, able to prioritise effectively, and comfortable working to deadlines
- You're confident using IT packages including Microsoft Office and bespoke systems
- You're flexible, collaborative, and enjoy working both as part of a team and on your own initiative
