Meat Process Worker
Yetminster (15 minute drive from Yeovil)
Temp – Perm position
SITE TOURS AVAILABLE
Full-Time, Day shift, Monday - Friday
07:00 – 17:00 Overtime on Saturdays in peak time is offered.
2 x 30 minutes break per day
Pay Rate is from £13.10+ This is a performance-based position therefore hourly rate will increase based on targets hit.

This factory is a meat Processing company that specialises in supplying and developing award-winning British beef and lamb products for retail, food service and wholesale customers worldwide.
Duties include but not limited to:
· Ensure carcasses are dressed and trimmed according to company and Customer specifications as directed by the Production Supervisor
· Ensure that all parts of the carcass are trimmed to produce optimum production yield while adhering to legislation and company requirements
· Maintain responsibility for operational effectiveness of equipment and machinery and report faults to supervisor in a timely manner
· Demonstrate high levels of animal welfare
· Carry out all procedures in a safe manner in accordance with H&S legislation
Requirements:
· Previous experience in food production is preferred but not essential.
· Understanding of food safety practices and HACCP principles.
· Ability to work on your own and as a part of a team
