We're looking for a hands-on Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team supporting the Metropolitan Police contract across three sites in London. This is a working supervisor role where you'll lead from the front, combining your technical expertise with team leadership to deliver high-quality maintenance services.
- Lead and support a team of 8 engineers across 3 sites, ensuring effective delivery of planned and reactive maintenance
- Carry out hands-on mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled maintenance tasks
- Allocate work, provide technical guidance, and support team development
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements
- Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders
- Relevant qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in mechanical or electrical discipline)
- Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory or lead role
- Strong understanding of building services and compliance requirements
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to balance supervision and technical work
- Experience working across multiple sites or in a similar environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A focus on safety, quality, and service delivery
- A candidate willing to undergo a SC Clearance check to work on this contract
