We are looking for a dedicated Registered Manager to lead a 4-bed EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) children's residential home in Kidderminster. The home supports young people aged 10–17 with complex emotional and behavioural needs, including trauma and mental health challenges.

Salary & Benefits
- Basic Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 (DOE)
- Up to £60,000 for Ofsted “Outstanding” graded managers

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the children’s home
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations (2015)
- Provide strong leadership and support to the care team
- Deliver high-quality, child-centred care with a trauma-informed approach
- Manage staff performance, training, and development
- Support safeguarding, care planning, and placement matching
- Oversee audits, inspections, and reports
- Work flexibly to support the home, including on-call duties
Essential Requirements
- Current Registered Manager in an EBD children’s residential setting
- Minimum 2 years’ management/senior experience in children’s residential care
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (England)
- Strong understanding of Ofsted, Children’s Homes Regulations (2015), and safeguarding
- Experience supporting young people with trauma, complex needs, and behaviours
- UK Driving Licence
- Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain)
Desirable Experience
- Therapeutic or trauma-informed care models
- DSL or advanced safeguarding training
- Strong report writing and IT skills
