Responsibilities

- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff
- Serve dishes promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met and guest satisfaction is prioritized
- Assist in food safety practices by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to deliver timely service without compromising quality
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining environment at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Familiarity with serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food preparation is advantageous
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing and cash handling purposes
- Kitchen or culinary experience can be beneficial for understanding food prep processes
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
