Overview
The Site Engineer is responsible for delivering technical, operational and engineering support across the assigned projects. The role ensures that all engineering activities are completed safely, compliantly and top required standards. Strengthen project delivery capability and contribute to the succesful performance, reputation and long term growth of this organisation.
Duties
- oversee daily operations for both design and construction activities
- production and review of method statement and associated HSEQ documentation.
- Monitor progress and quality of work, conducting regular inspections and site audits
- Deliver engineering support for assigned projects, ensuring designs, specifications and construction activities meet required standards and project objectives.
- Oversee material procurement, delivery schedules, and inventory management to prevent delays
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards
- Collaborate with project teams to prepare progress reports, site documentation, and completion certifications
- Incorporate electrical experience into project planning where applicable for integrated infrastructure development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
- Proven experience in civil construction site management or supervision
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with diverse teams
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and building codes in the project location
- Electrical experience is highly desirable to support integrated infrastructure projects
- proficient in Microsoft office and engineering design and project management software
