Sanctuary Personnel is recruiting for a Social Worker – Child & Family Team in Bradford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Social Worker to join a supportive Child & Family Team, working with children and families to provide effective safeguarding, assessment, and long-term intervention. You'll play a key role in helping children achieve positive outcomes while working within a collaborative and progressive service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of children and families requiring statutory intervention and support
- Complete Child in Need, Child Protection, Looked After Children, and other statutory assessments where appropriate
- Develop, implement, and review care and support plans
- Undertake statutory visits and direct work with children and their families
- Work collaboratively with education, health, police, and other partner agencies
- Assess risk, safeguard children, and promote positive outcomes
- Prepare reports and attend child protection conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings where required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in line with statutory requirements
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work
- Registration with Social Work England
- Experience working within Children's Social Care
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance
- Strong assessment, communication, and case management skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment
