Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across our site. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in domestic and/or commercial cleaning, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This position offers flexible hours suitable for those seeking part-time employment.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of spaces in the centre: including toilets, showers, changing rooms and communal areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and lots of glass windows to be cleaned
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls as needed
- Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain organised storage of cleaning materials
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning procedures
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial or domestic cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently within allocated timeframes
- Reliable with a positive attitude and good communication skills
