Job title: Project and Administration Officer

Pay: £13.45 per hour
Hours: 17.5 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term for 12 months
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Main purpose
The main focus is coordinating the administration and delivery of the Repair and Share Café programme, which will provide 12 practical repair, reuse and sustainability events over one year.
The postholder will also support related organisational administration, including:
- Project plans, calendars, deadlines and action lists
- Event coordination and registrations
- Communication with facilitators, partners, participants and volunteers
- Attendance and accessibility records
- Enquiries, venue bookings and event information
- Shared documents, forms and digital filing
- Project spending, invoices, receipts and expenses
- Monitoring committed and actual expenditure
- Feedback, photographs, case studies and consent records
- Recording project outcomes and environmental impact
- Monitoring information and the final funder report
- Relevant general administration
- Compliance with safeguarding, data protection, equality and health and safety procedures
Essential requirements
- Experience in administration, project support, event coordination or a similar role
- Strong organisation and deadline management
- Confidence using email, shared documents, spreadsheets and digital filing systems
- Clear professional communication
- Good attention to detail, especially with finances and project evidence
- Ability to work independently and balance competing priorities
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
- Commitment to equality, accessibility and inclusive practice
- Ability to work remotely and attend the Dundee venue when required
Desirable experience
- Working within a community organisation, charity or social enterprise
- Supporting funded projects or monitoring reports
- Coordinating events, workshops, volunteers or community partners
- Maintaining budgets or processing invoices and expenses
- General office, venue or booking administration
- Repair, reuse, sustainability or circular economy activities
