Part-Time Live-In Carer Required – Male Client with Cerebral Palsy
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated live-in carer to provide high-quality support for an adult male with cerebral palsy in his own home.
This is a part-time live-in position, ideal for someone who is committed to delivering person-centred care while promoting independence, dignity, and choice.
Role Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities
- Supporting with washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assisting with mobility and safe transfers where required
- Preparing meals and supporting with eating and drinking
- Administering or prompting medication (where appropriate)
- Carrying out light household duties related to the client's care
- Driving the client to appointments, social activities, and outings using the client's vehicle
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting the client to access the community and maintain an active, independent lifestyle
About You
- A full UK manual driving licence is essential, as you will be required to drive the client's manual vehicle
- Previous experience in care is preferred, particularly supporting individuals with physical disabilities
- Kind, patient, and respectful with excellent communication skills
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
- Comfortable living in the client's home during your working period
- Right to work in the UK
