Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) to join an exciting interdisciplinary research project funded through a prestigious APEX Royal Society award.
The project focuses on the development of next-generation materials for specialised engineering environments. Bringing together expertise in materials science, polymer engineering and civil engineering, the research aims to develop innovative material technologies that contribute to the durability, sustainability and resilience of future infrastructure systems.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative team spanning Chemical Engineering and Civil Engineering and will play a leading role in the design, synthesis and evaluation of advanced hydrated materials with tailored physical, chemical and mechanical properties.
This position provides an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated researcher to work at the interface of materials science and engineering while contributing to a growing interdisciplinary research programme with significant potential for future development.
