We are looking for a motivated and reliable Production Operative to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a manufacturing background, engineering interest, or practical aptitude who is keen to learn and develop within a specialist manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Production Operative, you'll play an important role in the manufacture of cut fibres, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment
- Following production and quality procedures
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety
- Recording production data and activities accurately
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the production team
- Taking ownership of your work and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Understanding of safe manufacturing processes
- Good awareness of health and safety requirements
- Strong team-working skills
- A conscientious and reliable approach to work
- Ability to take responsibility for your own performance
Desirable
- Previous manufacturing or production experience
- Experience working within a quality-controlled environment
- Engineering aptitude or practical mechanical skills
- Forklift Truck licence
- Experience capturing and recording production data
