POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Parts Supervisor
SHIFTS & SALARY:
(1 hour lunch daily,unpaid)
HOURS TO BE COVERED
(Shifts will be discussed as change weekly)
MONDAY-FRIDAY 7AM-7PM
SAT 7AM – 12:30PM
20 Days Annual leave + 8 Bank Holidays per annum + bonuses
Salary Competitive/Negotiable (Experience dependant)
JOB SUMMARY:
A Parts Supervisor role within the Spalding Dealerpoint, the individual will be accountable for achieving and exceeding parts targets while maintaining a consistently high level of customer service and ultimately contribute towards improving the overall success of the Dealerpoint, the individual will have access to excellent training programs to assist with the expansion of their product knowledge.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
- Handle customer enquiries via the telephone or over the counter with a professional and friendly approach.
- Processing parts enquiries and completing orders to meet customer's requirements and expectations.
- Taking a pro-active approach to selling additional parts, offers and services to the customer.
- Delivering parts to the customer and collecting parts from the suppliers.
- Working the front and back counters as required.
- Handling workshop parts requests and pre picking parts where possible.
- Ordering and receipting of goods including non-Volvo parts when required.
- Ensuring that all goods received on a daily basis are checked and located accurately.
- Ensuring that processes are followed and correctly carried out.
- Assisting with periodic stock taking and buyback.
- Raising credits for goods returned.
- Processing and return of old exchange core units.
- Maintain a good level of housekeeping within the department and Dealerpoint.
- Support and cover the service department duties when required.
- Assist with other duties as and when requested by your manager.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent customer service skills including the ability to build positive relationships with the customer and to interpret the customer needs.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in an organised and methodical manner ensuring that all daily tasks are completed.
- The ability to work on own initiative when under pressure.
- To be able to communicate effectively to all.
- Enthusiastic with a passion for sales.
- To always conduct yourself in a professional manner.
- Team orientated.
- Computer literate – training will be given on in house systems.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Flexible approach to working hours to cover holidays/sick leave/training.
- Interest in the HGV/motor industry.
- Work with health & safety in mind.
- Driving licence required (6 points max)

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
