We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. Duties
As a Housekeeper, your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and sanitising guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest standards.
- Changing bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and well-presented.
- Restocking supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products as needed.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assisting with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Maintaining a positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members.
- Following established cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping role, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry.
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- A friendly disposition with strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an understanding of hotel standards, making it perfect for individuals with a background in the hospitality industry. We offer outstanding rate of pay for the right candidates up to £13.68 per hour including holiday pay . Working hours: weekends from 10.00 am to latest 3.30pm (Saturday and Sunday) and from 9 am to 3.30 latest pm during the week. Experience is required and you need to be in good physical health. You will be expected to work weekends and be available to cover sickness and holidays.
