Job Overview
We are looking for 4 confident, friendly and energetic people aged 18+ to join our event marketing and student recruitment team at Notting Hill Carnival 2026.
Dates: Sunday 30 August & Monday 31 August 2026
Location: Notting Hill, London
Hours: 6 hours per day (12 hours total)
Pay: £15 per hour (£180 basic pay for both days)
Additional commission: 20% commission on successful student enrolments generated from your leads

We work with universities offering music-related study opportunities and want to connect with musicians, artists, students and other people who may be interested in studying music.
This is a lively, people-facing role. You should be comfortable approaching new people, starting conversations and representing our organisation professionally.
Your Role
You will:
- Approach and speak with musicians, artists, students and members of the public.
- Introduce suitable people to music-related university study opportunities.
- Identify people genuinely interested in studying music.
- Generate prospective student leads and collect contact details with their permission.
- Encourage interested people to register their interest and take the next step.
- Represent the organisation in a friendly, professional and positive manner.
- Wear the company T-shirt provided while working.
- Work collaboratively as part of the event team.
Who We're Looking For
You must:
- Be 18 or over.
- Be available on both 30 and 31 August 2026.
- Be confident approaching and speaking with new people.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic.
- Be reliable and punctual.
- Be comfortable working outdoors in a very busy festival environment.
An interest in music, festivals, education or student recruitment would be particularly useful.
Previous experience in sales, marketing, events, promotions or student recruitment is an advantage, but it is not essential. Confidence, reliability and communication skills are more important.
Pay & Commission
The basic rate is £15 per hour.
You will work 6 hours per day for 2 days, providing 12 paid hours and £180 basic gross pay in total.
In addition to the hourly pay, you can earn 20% commission on successful student enrolments generated from your leads, subject to the company's commission terms.
Travel expenses are not included.
Potential for Future Work
This is initially a two-day temporary role for Notting Hill Carnival 2026.
Candidates who perform well may be considered for future paid opportunities at music festivals, open-mic nights, live events and other music-related promotional activities throughout the year.
We are particularly interested in finding reliable people who could become part of our wider event marketing and student recruitment team.
