Barker Munro Recruitment is partnering with a leading global insurance organisation to appoint an experienced specialist to their high‑profile Claims team. This hybrid London‑based position offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of complex and challenging risks, providing genuine variety in your day‑to‑day work.

The role
· Lead complex Construction and Delay claims from investigation through to settlement.
· Produce high‑quality reports, loss assessments and technical submissions.
· Work directly with insurers, loss adjusters and major clients including developers, contractors and financial institutions.
· Focus on Construction Material Damage and Delay in Start‑Up claims, with scope to expand into wider property losses.
Experience
· Background as a construction loss adjuster, surveyor, engineer or senior claims manager.
· Chartered professional qualification (e.g., MIChemE, CEng, MRICS, ACILA).
· Strong experience managing complex construction claims.
· Excellent communication, analytical and spreadsheet skills.
What sets you apart
· Solid CAR claims experience working for the insurance market and/or policyholders.
· Experience collaborating with engineers and delay experts on CAR claims desirable.
