Summary
We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team at Maray Manchester. In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing high-quality dishes that delight our customers. Your contributions will directly impact our mission of providing exceptional dining experiences.
Job description
Main Duties
- To prep and serve the menu in line with the spec book and plating spec book, ensuring dishes are consistent and of the highest quality.
- To follow the practices in place set out in the FSMS.
- To work in an organised, clean and efficient manner, coordinating tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- To organise stock in a sensible manner sticking to the FIFO principle.
- To ensure the Allergen Process is strictly followed, outlined in the FSMS.
- To comply with company allergen, fire, COSSH and health and safety regulations and ensure a safe work space.
- To effectively manage your time to meet service demands.
- To work in a tidy and clean manner, adhering to 5* company standards of cleanliness and section breakdown on all occasions.
Skills and Qualifications Required
- Previous experience at a similar level, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Food Safety Level 2 is preferred.
- Additional certifications such as First Aid or cookery qualification are an advantage.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance in accordance with the restaurant’s dress code and an understanding of the physical requirements that may include standing for extended periods, lifting boxes and performing repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility to work various types of shifts that will include weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

Pay: £13.17 per hour plus equal split tronc (Ave £4.50/hr)
