Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Newquay, South West. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospitality facilities, contributing to a welcoming environment for our guests. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining the standards of our premises, ensuring that all areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
- Assist in the upkeep of outdoor areas, including gardens and pathways.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support the team in setting up and dismantling equipment for events.
Qualifications:

No formal qualifications required; however, a basic understanding of maintenance tasks is preferred.
- Previous experience in a maintenance or similar role is an advantage but not essential.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
