Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Vehicle Sprayer and Refinisher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes and refinishing commercial vehicles, ensuring they meet our strict standards for appearance and durability. Your expertise will help maintain the professional image of our products while contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. Duties
- Liase with production to organise and prioritise work schedule
- Prepare vehicle surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Operate spray guns and other hand tools to apply primer, paint, and clear coats with precision and consistency
- Inspect finished work for quality, smoothness, color match, and overall finish standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly
- Ensure stock of paints and associated consumables are kept fulfilled and stored correctly
- Follow safety guidelines at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all stages of spraying and refinishing
- Skills
- A proven track record in the industry. If no formal qualifications experience will be considered
- Strong knowledge related to vehicle surfaces, paint systems, and refinishing techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools such as sanders, scrapers, brushes, and masking equipment
- Experience with power tools used in surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Attention to detail with a focus on achieving high-quality finishes that meet industry standards
- Good communication skills to understand job requirements and collaborate effectively with team members
- Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on best practices in vehicle spraying and refinishing

Pay: £37,500.00-£52,000.00 per year
