Pro-Tect GRP Enclosures Limited is one of the leading manufactures of bespoke GRP Enclosures within the UK, and a market leader within the GRP sector.
As Pro-Tect GRP Enclosures Limited continues to grow within the UK and European market, we are now looking to strengthen our manufacturing team with additional ‘Assembly Operatives’.
Pro-Tect GRP Enclosures Limited is looking to employ a competent GRP Operative to join its workforce. Experience in GRP Manufacture is advantageous and will reflect in the starting rate. A background in carpentry/GRP work is essential for this role along with a current CSCS card and Valid Driving License. Associated skills in the use of power tools, woodworking machinery, working within the construction industry (carpentry) or previous GRP experience is desirable for the role.
The right candidate will be looking to pursue a career within the GRP sector.
The successful candidates will be required to:
- Assemble and fit out GRP enclosures to a high standard in accordance with technical drawings
- Be available to stay away for up to 5 days a week on occasions of site work.
- Engage in woodworking operations, including preparation of core materials.
- Meet all targets and deadlines
- Work in accordance with the ISO 9001 certified quality management system
- Abide by health and safety procedures
- Undertake any other duties as and when necessary
- Have the ability to read and work from technical drawings

The successful candidates will possibly be required to undertake specific training as part of the association with this role :
The training will include:
- The safe use of woodworking machinery
- Counterbalance Forklift
- Abrasive Wheels
Wage Structure: To be discussed during interview – Wage to be negotiated depending on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.71-£14.25 per hour
