We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our team at Pizza Para.
The successful candidates will play a vital role in preparing and serving high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for food, catering, and restaurant operations to develop their skills and gain valuable experience within the hospitality industry. The role also includes cleaning of the venue and other areas before opening.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with meal preparation and food presentation to ensure consistency and quality standards are met
- Supporting the cooking process by following recipes and safety guidelines
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations
- Preparing ingredients, garnishes, and accompaniments for service
- Assisting with serving customers when required, ensuring excellent customer service standards are upheld
- Ensuring all kitchen equipment is used safely and correctly, reporting any faults or issues promptly
- Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment
- Supporting the team during catering events or special functions as needed
- Cleaning the venues before opening to the correct standard, with great attention to details
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques
- Experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, or culinary roles is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy setting
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Friendly attitude with excellent communication skills
- Experience with cleaning, extra merit if you have experience in cleaning accommodations/rooms as well
- Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team
The role is part time to start but it can grow into a full time position for the right candidate who can work across sections and help where needed in the business.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
