About Us
We are a small, friendly care home, giving residential care in Pendlebury, Swinton and we have 25 residents with diverse care requirements.
Job Description
We require an experienced cook to prepare, make and serve food to our residents. This involves cooking items from scratch as well as providing multiple choices.
As a kitchen cook, you will also be required to ask residents what food they wish to choose and ensure everything is ready for the next day.
Taking stock checks will also be required to ensure adequate levels of food are on site to optimise the choice for residents.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for completing the relevant checks of the kitchen and reporting to management.
Due to residents various health conditions, the right person will also be asked to make sure that the food served meets the individual residents needs.
Experience within a catering environment will be required and additional training will be required due to working within a care environment.
Work Pattern
Monday - 08:00 - 18:00
Wednesday - 13:30 - 18:00
Saturday - 08:00 - 18:00
These hours are non-negotiable. If you are not able to meet these hours, please not do apply.
