Join our Supported Living Service in Swansea as a Senior Mental Health Support Worker and help people experiencing mental health and substance misuse challenges build confidence, develop independence and achieve their goals.
About The Role
As a Senior Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to help people achieve positive outcomes and greater independence.
Key Responsibilities:

Act as a Key Worker and support people to achieve their personal goals.

Deliver person-centred, psychologically informed support.
-
Support with daily living skills, medication, appointments and community engagement.

Promote independence, wellbeing, dignity and choice.

Maintain accurate records and facilitate support reviews.

Work flexibly across services, including evenings, weekends, nights and sleep-ins where required.
About You
We're looking for someone who is compassionate, proactive and committed to supporting people to flourish.
Essential Skills and Experience
-
Experience supporting people with mental health, substance misuse, housing or complex support needs.

Experience developing person-centred support plans and helping people achieve positive outcomes.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Good IT and record-keeping skills.

Full UK driving licence.

We welcome previous experience working as:
Support Worker, Senior Support Worker, Recovery Worker, Key Worker, Housing Support Officer, Care Worker, Mental Health Practitioner, Social Care Worker, Substance Misuse Worker, Complex Needs Support Worker or any other role with transferable skills in support, wellbeing, or community work.
