Your role will include providing person centred care and support to our residents, including personal care and assistance at meal times.
Additionally to Night Care Assistant duties, your role will include:
- supporting and assisting the Deputy and Home Manager by providing leadership to the care team
- acting as the senior person on duty at night in the absence of the Deputy Manager and informing the Home Manager of any problems or concerns in relation to the Home
- acting as a role model and setting the standard for staff of person-centred care
- providing support to the night care staff and act as a champion for residents' safety and dignity
delegating tasks fairly to team members and supporting them to complete tasks in a timely manner
acting as part of the care team, and in accordance with organisational policies and procedures, to supervise, support and assist with the induction and training of care staff
£14.42 per hour (£36,000 per year FTE)
Based on a 48-hour full-time contract
