Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-orientated surveyor to join our small, growing team. Must be adept at liaising with customers and committed to high levels of customer service.
Access to a new leased vehicle can be provided as part of salary sacrifice. Salary progression scheme based on performance. Anticipated base salary c. £40,000 for newly qualified/ less experienced.
The role would suit someone with experience in construction, defect analysis, surveying older properties, and prepurchase surveys (Level 2 and Level 3). We are flexible with the desired professional background but would suit someone with a formal qualification or professional accreditation with CIOB, RICS, CABE etc.
We would consider a newly qualified surveyor who has some related experience.
We are based in north east London but the role is primarily home working with travel to surveys throughout London.
This role requires a strong analytical mindset and excellent organisational skills, as well as the ability to interpret data accurately.
We are a tech-forward company, and you would be trained to use drones. We have developed comprehensive report-writing software to mean you can spend more time focusing on surveying rather than report writing.
Responsibilities
- Write reports outlining survey findings and recommendations.
- Carry out Level 2 and Level 3 surveys
- Defect reports
- Damp reports
- Timber reports
- Roof condition reports
- Expert witness work
Requirements
- Proven experience surveying residential properties (prepurchase, damp reports, building surveys, roof condition reports)
- Strong analysis skills to interpret survey data effectively.
- Proficiency with modern surveying equipment – training will be provided for drone use
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in data recording and report preparation.
- Ability to work independently
- A valid driving licence is desirable for site access purposes.
- A recognised qualification in surveying or similar.
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
