Twilight Pick Shift Operative – Flooring Distributor

Salary: £29,500 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00pm–2:00am (40hours pw)

About Us
We are a leading flooring distributor supplying a wide range of flooring products to customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and experienced Twilight Pick Shift Operative to join our busy warehouse team.
The Role
As a Twilight Pick Shift Operative, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders, ensuring goods are placed in the correct staging areas and supporting the smooth running of the warehouse during the evening shift.
Main duties include:
· Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently.
· Ensuring picked orders are placed in the correct staging area ready for dispatch.
· Maintaining accurate stock locations and supporting general stock control.
· Carrying out general warehouse duties as required.
· Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised with a ‘clean as you go’ attitude.
· Operating an articulated FLT safely and in accordance with company procedures.
· Working as part of a team to meet daily operational requirements.
· Following all company health and safety procedures at all times.
About You
We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and takes pride in accuracy. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and understand the importance of getting customer orders picked correctly and ready for dispatch.
Essential requirements:
· Valid Articulated FLT licence – essential.
· Previous warehouse and order-picking experience.
· Ability to pick orders accurately and efficiently.
· Good attention to detail.
· Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
· Positive ‘clean as you go’ attitude.
What We Offer
· Salary of £29,500 per annum.
· Monday to Friday twilight shift, 5:00pm–1:00am.
