Early Years Educator-Preschool
Bows and Arrows are a not for profit charity, operating 7 nurseries across Ipswich, all of which are rated Outstanding by Ofsted.
Little Learners and Forest Learners Nurseries on Hogarth road form part of the Bows and Arrows group, operating its 3 rooms (baby, toddler & preschool) all year round. The nursery & its team have a huge passion for open ended natural learning that includes access to outdoors and the natural world at all times (bring your wellies!)
We are looking for an experienced Early Years Educator, who ideally is level 2 or 3 qualified and has experience working with under 2's to join our lovely Preschool room team on a full-time basis from September 2026.
Your role will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging activities and experiences
- Supporting children’s learning and development through play-led, child-centred practice
- Using approaches such as HighScope and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs to support behaviour and wellbeing
- Observing, assessing, and documenting children’s learning journeys
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating outdoor environment
What you’ll bring
- A Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years/Childcare
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development
- Understanding of safeguarding, SEND, and health & safety in early years
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive, positive attitude and a sense of adventure

Working Hours: This role is for 38 hours per week, between the hours of 7:45am and 6:15pm on a Monday- Friday working all year round.
