The Role
We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented installer with experience in joinery or the home improvement industry. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality finishes and enjoys working hands-on to bring outdoor spaces to life.
Quality is our priority, speed comes second. You’ll also play an important role in representing the business on-site, so clear and professional communication with customers is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Install outdoor structures such as decking, patios, pergolas, and garden rooms to a high standard
- Apply strong joinery/installation skills to ensure precise assembly and finishing
- Travel to job sites throughout Moray, Highland and Aberdeenshire
- Communicate with clients
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Travel to and from yard (IV30 8XT) required
Requirements
- Proven experience in joinery or a related home improvement trade
- Minimum 5 years’ experience using power tools
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
Working Pattern & Travel
- Monday to Friday (no weekend work)
- Approximately 25% travel required
- Occasional overnight stays (2–3 nights per month), with private accommodation provided
