About Us:
The Mayfair Pub and Kitchen is our fourth venue, recently opened in the heart of Durham! We bring years of experience in creating vibrant, welcoming spaces with exceptional drinks, delicious food, and memorable customer experiences. We’re looking for energetic, reliable, and personable bartenders to join our team and help make our newest venue a success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with recipes and venue standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guests feel welcome and attended to.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Manage cash, card transactions, and keep accurate records of sales.
- Assist in stock management, including receiving deliveries and checking inventory.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year's bartending or hospitality experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Knowledge of drink recipes and basic mixology is a plus.
