What is the job role?
Responsible for the day-to-day cover for absent teachers, ensuring all lessons are covered. Responsible for the maintenance of the student data in MIS to ensure all information is current and accurate. Support with the setup and administration of the progress day system. Responsible for overseeing the class charts package at a data level. Support the MIS data manager with the input, preparation and production of student assessment data in Assessment Manager. Work collaboratively with the MIS data manager on the production and upload of the school census, assisting the MIS data manager with timetabling, student curriculum, year 7 admissions and year-end. Provide support to the Data & Exams Team with tasks appropriate to the role.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an exceptional, highly organised, and detail-oriented Data, Exams, and Cover Administration Officer to join our busy administrative team. The ideal candidate will be a calm, methodical problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced school environment and possesses a strong analytical mindset. You will play a vital role in the smooth day-to-day running of the school—managing daily staff cover, maintaining accurate student data in our MIS, and ensuring the seamless delivery of internal and public examinations in strict accordance with regulations. Excellent IT skills (particularly with spreadsheets and database management), high-level communication abilities, and the flexibility to adapt to changing daily priorities are essential for success in this multifaceted role.
