We are a expanding team, you will join our current team, in recruitment as we go through a exciting expansion opening new homes.
Job Summary
You will take responsibility for coordinating the full end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring that we recruit safe, suitable and experienced staff who are committed to providing outstanding care and support to children and young people.
This is a key safeguarding and compliance role, requiring excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of Ofsted requirements, safer recruitment and Schedule 2 of the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
Duties
* Manage the recruitment process from advertising vacancies through to onboarding and induction
* Prepare and advertise vacancies across appropriate recruitment platforms.
* Shortlist applications
*Conduct pre screening calls
*Conduct interviews
* Complete and maintain comprehensive recruitment and personnel files.
*Manage ATS for application and recruitment checks
* Ensure all required Schedule 2 checks and documentation are obtained and recorded.
* Coordinate enhanced DBS checks and verify identity.
* Ensure safer recruitment procedures are followed consistently.
* Maintain accurate recruitment trackers and compliance records.
* Monitor outstanding checks and proactively chase applicants, referees and external organisations.
* Prepare recruitment files and records for Ofsted inspections.
* Work closely with the Registered Manager and senior management team to identify staffing requirements and recruitment priorities.
* Coordinate new starter documentation, contracts and induction arrangements.
* Maintain confidentiality and comply with GDPR and safeguarding requirements.
* Support ongoing workforce planning and recruitment campaigns.
Requirements
* Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
* Experienced in recruitment administration, HR administration or safer recruitment.
* Confident managing multiple vacancies and candidates simultaneously.
* Confident communicating with candidates, managers and external organisations.
* Able to maintain accurate and confidential records.
* Proactive, reliable and able to work to deadlines.
* Committed to safeguarding children and young people.
Desirable
* Previous experience recruiting for a *children’s home or residential childcare setting*.
* Knowledge of the *Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015*.
* Experience preparing personnel files for Ofsted inspection.
* Knowledge of safer recruitment practices.
* Experience using HR/recruitment databases or applicant tracking systems.

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
