Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/woman to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and renovation tasks across residential and commercial properties. The successful candidate will have a broad range of practical skills, including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, and electrical work, to ensure properties are well-maintained and functional. Duties
- Carry out carpentry tasks such as repairs, installations, and modifications
- Conduct roofing repairs and maintenance to ensure structural integrity
- Perform construction painting to improve or restore surfaces
- Handle plumbing repairs including leak fixes, pipe replacements, and fixture installations
- Execute masonry work such as bricklaying, patching, and concrete repairs
- Carry out welding tasks for structural or decorative purposes
- Undertake electrical work including wiring, socket installation, and troubleshooting (where qualified)
- Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various projects
- Fabricate custom components or fixtures as required for specific projects
- Inspect properties regularly to identify maintenance needs and address issues proactively
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding or electrical work is highly desirable
- Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or plans is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different tasks quickly
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physical fitness suitable for manual labour tasks in various weather conditions
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction trades are preferred but not essential
- A valid driver’s licence is beneficial for transporting tools or materials between sites

Pay: £45,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
