Dance and Performing Arts After School Club Practitioners
Job Summary:
We’re looking for energetic, reliable, and experienced dance and drama practitioners to deliver after school clubs in Street Dance and Musical Theatre at our partner primary schools (Stockport & Sale). Clubs are typically 1hr-1.5hrs each, so these positions would suit local dance and drama practitioners looking to build sessions around their other work.
Current Vacancies:
- Street Dance Teacher (Mondays + Wednesdays)
- Musical theatre teacher (Tuesdays)
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in relevant field
- Strong subject knowledge and skillset
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience, preferably with young people
- Great class and behavioural management skills
- Reliable, energetic, enthusiastic, and excellent time-keeping
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver structured, dynamic, and enjoyable afterschool club sessions to children age 6-11 - working towards a short presentation of their work each term.
- Develop skills and nurture creativity
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Take a weekly register and follow safeguarding protocols.
