Rivers Fitness is entering an exciting new era with the launch of new Treatment rooms at Droitwich. We are inviting expressions of interest from experienced Treatment Managers to play your part in shaping the next exciting chapter of Rivers Fitness growth.
The role will initially be based at Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre in 2026 with the additional responsibility of Droitwich Spa Lido in 2028 . A key element of the role will be to design Treatment packages for the Lido when it opens and to lead our Spa Treatment and Experience offering in early 2028.
The Role:
The Treatment spa is still in its formative stages, and the Treatment Manager role is initially expected to play a key role in formulating and developing plans in conjunction with the Manager and external partners.
As Treatment Manager your core purpose will be to lead the Spa operation across both sites, deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive revenue through outstanding service and product knowledge. You will deliver treatments personally initially whilst the Spa experiences are being established.
Key Responsibilities:
Spa Treatment Operations:
· Manage the day-to-day operation of the treatment rooms.
· Recruit Lead, motivate and develop the spa team.
· To monitor the financial performance of the Spa and update the Manager as required
· Oversee staff rotas and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
· Manage stock control and ordering of treatment products.
· Drive in house marketing and promotion of treatment to guests
Guest Experience:
· Ensure all guests are welcomed to the Spa in line with River’s standards.
· Consult with guests to understand their needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
Treatment Delivery:
· Perform Treatments in line with brand guidelines.
· Create a relaxing comfortable and professional experience for every guest.
· Use expert knowledge to explain treatments clearly and suggest suitable adaptations when requested.
Retail and Product promotion:
· Actively promote and sell spa treatments to maximise revenue.
· Develop a programme to maximise revenue from product resaleables.
· Provide knowledgeable recommendations tailored to individual guest needs.
Role Requirements:
To be successful in this role you will have:
· Proven experience as a Spa/ Treatment Manager /Assistant Spa Manager/Senior Therapist
· A recognized Spa qualification such as NVQ3 in Beauty Therapy
· A genuine passion for spa and wellness with the ability to share your knowledge and expertise with guests.
· Excellent diligence with strong knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
· Able to read Financial Health of the Treatment Spa particularly around revenue growth and profit margins.
