We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Person preferably with experience in a trade, to carry out installation, repair and upkeep operations across our two holiday parks.
A great maintenance person will have a solid understanding of general trades such as plumbing and electrical systems as well as carpentry and other crafts. They will be well-versed in all maintenance process and health and safety regulations.
The goal is to ensure the company facilities and accommodation are well-cared for and adequate to support the company’s business operations.
Responsibilities
- Effective implementation of maintenance procedures
- Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
- Plan and implement repairs and installation activities
- Monitor and report equipment/stock inventory when necessary
- Support relationships with contractors and service providers
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
Requirements
- Proven experience as maintenance person or self employed specialist
- Solid understanding of technical aspects such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
- Working knowledge of facilities and equipment
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organisational abilities
