Class 1 HGV Driver (Furniture & Household Goods Transport)
We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV Driver to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Transport furniture and household goods safely and efficiently.
- Complete deliveries and collections throughout the UK.
- Travel outside the UK when required.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
- Comply with Driver Hours, Working Time Regulations, and all road transport legislation.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Ability to travel within the UK and internationally when required.
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused.
- Previous experience in furniture removals or general haulage is an advantage but not essential.
- The right to work in the UK, a valid passport, and willingness to undertake overnight stays.
Pay & Benefits:
- Fixed monthly salary.
- Additional travel allowance based on the distance and duration of each trip, particularly for international journeys.
