We are looking for an experienced Solar PV Installer with a strong roofing background to join our team, working on residential and commercial projects across London and the surrounding M25 area.
The ideal candidate will have good experience in all aspects of roofing, including roof repairs, new roofs, tile and slate work, identifying roof defects, and making roofs watertight. You will also be required to install solar PV systems safely and to a high standard, including mounting systems, roof hooks, rails, panels and associated roof works.
You should be:
- Experienced in roofing and roof repairs
- Confident working with tiled, slate and other common roof types
- Experienced in, or willing to develop further experience in, solar panel installation
- Able to complete neat, safe and weatherproof installations
- Polite and professional when dealing with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Willing to travel throughout London and areas surrounding the M25
- Safety-conscious and comfortable working at height
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and understands that protecting the roof and leaving a high-quality finish is just as important as installing the solar system correctly.
Pay: £180.00-£250.00 per day
