Our client is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join their growing R&D team in Rugby, playing a key role in the design and development of innovative electronic products from concept through to production.
Key Responsibilities

The Electronics Engineer will design and develop embedded electronic systems, including schematic capture, component selection, PCB layout, prototyping, and testing.

Develop and maintain Embedded C/C firmware for PIC, NXP, or similar microcontrollers.

Produce technical documentation, specifications, and product development requirements.

Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and maintain product data within ERP systems.

The Electronics Engineer will support product testing, validation, EMC and safety compliance activities.

Provide technical support to production and wider engineering teams, while mentoring junior colleagues.
Requirements
-
Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.

5 years' experience within a product development environment.

Strong experience in electronic hardware design, PCB development, and embedded firmware programming.

Knowledge of product safety, EMC, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Project management experience would be advantageous.
