Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing business needs, developing data-driven solutions, and supporting project delivery through comprehensive data analysis and process optimisation. Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder engagement and analysis.
- Develop detailed business process models and workflows using Visio or similar tools.
- Analyse complex data sets using SQL, R, Python, and VBA to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Design and maintain databases with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualisations using Tableau and Power BI to support business decision-making.
- Manage projects effectively by applying project management principles throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Collaborate with technical teams on database design, optimisation, and system integration tasks.
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
- Assist in the development of automation scripts using Bash (Unix shell) for process optimisation.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within a data-driven environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience in database design and management on Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, and Visio for visualisation and process modelling.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as R, Python, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell).
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and project management practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets accurately.
- Strong understanding of business analysis principles combined with effective communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: £27,651.67-£50,000.00 per year
