Job Overview:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Vehicle Compliance Monitor, supporting the smooth operation of our partner delivery sites.
This role involves carrying out basic vehicle roadworthiness checks for delivery drivers, ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards.
The position is initially offered as a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the opportunity to become permanent following a successful trial period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out basic vehicle compliance checks (MOT, tax, tyres, windscreen, lights, etc.)
- Complete checks using a pre-populated, app-based system
- Communicate professionally with delivery drivers and site partners
- Achieve realistic daily KPIs for completed checks
- Work independently on site and manage your own workload effectively
Working Pattern:
- 1 site per day (pre-scheduled within your allocated region)
- 7.5-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid break (8 hours on site)
- Working hours typically between 8:00am – 6:00pm, depending on site
- Monday to Friday, with weekend availability and overtime where required
Requirements:
- Full extensive background check (no criminal record)
- Clean driving licence and use of your own vehicle
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve
- Willingness to work one month in arrears
- Comfortable using a mobile phone–based app
Skills & Experience:
- Good communication skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial but not essential
- Full training provided for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
