Labourer – Timber Sash Windows & Doors

About the Role
We are a specialist manufacturer of timber sash windows and doors, and we are looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Workshop Operative to join our team.
The successful candidate will work as part of our workshop team, assisting with the manufacture, preparation and finishing of high-quality timber windows and doors.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong work ethic and is keen to develop their skills within the joinery and manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
● Assisting with the manufacture and assembly of timber sash windows and doors
● Sanding and preparing timber components and finished frames
● Assisting with the fitting and assembly of window and door components
● Cleaning, preparing and maintaining materials and finished products
● Loading, unloading and handling timber and workshop materials
● Keeping the workshop clean, organised and safe
● Following instructions and established working procedures
● Working efficiently and safely as part of a team
● Carrying out general workshop duties as required

● Physically capable of carrying out a hands-on workshop role
Previous experience in joinery, woodworking, window manufacturing or a similar workshop environment would be an advantage, but is not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
