Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Car Painter, SMART Repairer, Vehicle Painter, Car Body Repairer, or Body Filler specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their optimal condition through expert painting, body repair, and smart repair techniques. Your craftsmanship will ensure our customers receive high-quality finishes that meet safety and aesthetic standards. Duties
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and touch-up paint using spray guns and hand tools with precision and attention to detail
- Perform SMART repairs—small to medium cosmetic fixes—restoring minor dents, scratches, and scuffs efficiently
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to remove damaged panels or parts before repairs or repainting
- Conduct heavy lifting of vehicle components or parts as needed during repair processes
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality expectations through thorough inspections
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in vehicle painting, body repair, or SMART repair techniques with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle structures and repair processes
- Proficiency with hand tools such as sanders, scrapers, and paint applicators; familiarity with power tools is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on achieving flawless finishes
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Valid certifications or training in automotive body repair or painting (preferred but not mandatory)
