We are a conservation organisation that runs projects for habitat restoration and species recovery programmes, for native species in Norfolk and Suffolk. We are looking to recruit an admin assistant one day a week, to help with our on going conservation work. This role is a fixed term contract for 9 months
The role will involve providing general administrative support to the directors to ensure smooth running of our conservation programmes. The ideal candidate will have strong organisation skills, excellent communication skills and be proficient in various office software.
Duties
Managing and maintaining records using Xero and Microsoft office software.
Organising schedules, appointments and meetings
Responding to phone calls and emails, providing excellent customer service
Assisting with general clerical duties such as filing, printing and email correspondence
Supporting directors with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of our conservation projects
Helping with the administrative project management tasks
Assisting with data collation and project reporting for grant funding bodies
Updating the company website
Qualifications and experience
Proven administrative and office experience preferred
Strong organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Experience with Xero or similar accounting software is preferred but not required
Professional communication skills
Demonstrated organisational skills with attention to detail and time management abilities
Knowledge and experience with grant funding and conservation work is a benefit but not essential
