We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your enthusiasm for coffee and customer service will ensure that every guest leaves with a smile.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and offering recommendations.
- Handle transactions efficiently while ensuring basic maths skills are applied for accurate billing.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other during peak times.
Skills
- Strong coffee skills with an understanding of and passion for coffee.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly disposition with the ability to help customers feel welcome and valued.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
